PRELIMINARY
0.1) Those who do not follow these rules are subject to punishment at the Warden's discretion.
0.2) The Warden may implement additional, or edit the following, rules as needed. The Warden will fairly announce to all if this happens.
GENERAL
1.1) Any and all violence against the Warden is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate execution.
1.2) Lethal violence against other residents is prohibited during the hours of 00:00-17:00.
1.2a) Non-Blackened residents may not commit any acts of violence between a body discovery, and the end of the ensuing Class Trial.
1.3) Destroying Kumabooks is strictly prohibited.
1.4) Destroying foundation of the facility is strictly prohibited (i.e. doors, walls, floors, portcullises ect.) Anything made of glass is an exception to this rule.
TRIALS
2.1) Residents will spend the rest of their lives in this facility.
2.2) Those who wish to leave the facility may do so upon both successfully murdering another resident, thus becoming a Blackened, and subsequently surviving a Class Trial where all residents will attempt to determine who the Blackened is.
2.3) After 4+ people discover a dead body, a Body Discovery Announcement will play, and all residents will be given a brief time to investigate before a Class Trial begins. The Blackened, while not actually discovering the body, may count towards this limit at both their and the Warden's discretion.
2.3a) With the exception of the Blackened, discovering a body is defined as seeing the body (generally skin) of the deceased resident. The sole exception to needing to actually see the body is that the deceased is allowed to be wearing a singular set of clothes that obfuscate the entire body, and seeing this will still count as discovering the body.
2.4) During a Class Trial, all residents will vote on who they the the Blackened is. Anyone who does not vote in a Class Trial will be executed.
2.5) If a Blackened is correctly chosen by the end of a Class Trial, they shall be executed at the end of the Trial.
2.6) If a Blackened is not correctly chosen by the end of a Class Trial, they shall be allowed to leave the facility. In addition, other members of the Class Trial will be executed.
2.7) In the event of the Blackened having a willing accomplice, that person shall not go free with the Blackened.
2.8) In the event of a Trial Vote naming a willing accomplice as the Blackened, the vote will be pronounced null and void and a single secondary vote to name the true Blackened will begin.
2.9) If only 3 residents remain alive, they must all leave together immediately.
NIGHT TIME
3.1) Nighttime begins at 20:30, and lasts until 05:00 of the next morning.
3.2) During Nighttime, the Cafeteria is not allowed to be entered.
3.3) During Nighttime, the Television Room door shall lock itself.
3.4) During Nighttime, residents may not go outside. This includes traveling through the Courtyard.
3.5) If a body is discovered during Nighttime, Nighttime shall immediately end.
TROLLEYS
4.0) In the Trolley Way, residents have access to 5 trolley cars that continuously circulate the area counter-clockwise. These are not required to move through the Trolley Way, but highly recommended. Each room/hall connected to the Trolley Way also has an associated trolley stop.
4.1) Each trolley cycle takes 10 minutes; 1 minute of boarding at the "top of the 10", 8 minutes of "movement", and 1 minute of docking at the next counter-clockwise stop.
4.2) Damaging trolley cars, or the rail and wires supporting them, is strictly prohibited.
4.3) Each Trolley has a maximum capacity limit, of either 2 or 3 residents. If this limit is exceeded during boarding, the trolleys will not move for that cycle.
4.4) During Night Time, the trolleys will move 2 stations at once per 10 minute cycle without stopping.
Floor 2
5.0) On the second floor are five rooms, each with a locked door engraved with a card suit. These "suit doors" are locked, and will only open when someone carrying the appropriate key on them attempts to open the door.
5.1) Purposefully preventing the suit doors from shutting for a period longer than 60 consecutive seconds is against the regulations.
5.9) The suit doors will unlock themselves during an official trial investigation.
EXTRAS (not found in the Duobook)
9.1) All doored rooms are built to be soundproof. To allow someone to contact someone inside a locked Dorm Room, all Dorm Rooms have a one way intercom that allows someone on the outside to contact someone on the inside.9.2) All Dorm Rooms can be locked from the inside via a simple metal sliding bolt. They cannot be locked from the outside.
